About Us

First Christian Church of Morgantown is an independent New Testament Christian Church.  We are committed to the principles of our Christian Church heritage in the Restoration Movement.  We are a congregation independent of any outside control except God and His Word.  God has called us to preach and teach His Word.  We want to be faithful to this high calling.  We call people to faith in Christ...a faith that responds to his commands to repent, confess our faith, be immersed into Him, and continue to follow Him.

Our statement of belief can be found below.

  • Forgiveness of sin and the promise of salvation are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)
  • Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him. (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38)
